Refund & Cancellation Policy

CleanTab is built to be easy to leave, which is exactly why you can trust it. This page covers the trial, billing, cancelling, and getting money back, in plain language.

The free trial

Every new account gets 14 days of the Pro plan free. No card is collected for the trial, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing that can be charged by surprise. When the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan automatically. Your records are untouched either way; they live in your own Google Drive.

Billing

The Pro plan costs ₹2,399 a year, billed annually, or ₹299 per month, inclusive of GST. Payments are processed by Razorpay; CleanTab never sees or stores your card, UPI or bank details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, and you will always be able to see your next renewal date in the app.

Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app, or by emailing support@cleantab.in from your account email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep Pro until that date, then move to the Free plan. No cancellation fees, no retention hoops, no phone calls.

Refunds

• Yearly plan: full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first yearly payment, no questions asked. After 7 days the year is non-refundable, but you keep Pro until it ends.
• Monthly plan: monthly charges are generally non-refundable given the short period, but if something went wrong (you cancelled and were still charged, or the app was genuinely unusable), write to us and we will make it right.
• Duplicate or incorrect charges: refunded in full, always.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of approval, via Razorpay. Depending on your bank, it can take a few further days to appear on your statement.

What happens to your data

Nothing. Cancelling or being refunded never deletes anything, because your receipts and income records live in your own Google Drive, not on CleanTab's servers. The Free plan keeps working with them, and the folder is yours even if you never open the app again. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
